My goal is to help Monmouth grow in a way that improves the quality of life for all members of our community, now and into the future.
I have been a member of Monmouth's planning commission since 2011, and have long had a passion for understanding how the shape of a city can enhance the lives of the people who live there.
My Platform
supporting a resilient and prosperous local economy
Running a successful small business is never easy. Doing so in a small university town in the 21st century comes with its own set of challenges. I believe there are steps we can take to attract and sustain the businesses that provide valuable services and local employment to our community.
communicating the city's plans, and listening to the public
For our community and city government to have a positive relationship, the public needs to be well-informed, and have sufficient time to be heard before decisions are made.
planning for our future needs
We all need to be able to rely on Monmouth’s infrastructure and services as we build our lives here. Understanding and preparing for the risks and opportunities that lie ahead is critical to the success of our city.
continuing to build a vibrant community
Call it quality of life, or livability, or small-town feel. It's important to nurture and promote the resources, amenities and events that have attracted so many of us to live and work here.
